Whale & Dolphin Watching Mirissa

A day, thoughtfully made

Set out from Mirissa harbour before dawn for one of the most reliable whale-watching experiences in the world. These waters, where the continental shelf drops sharply close to shore, draw blue whales, the largest animals on Earth, along with sperm whales and playful pods of spinner dolphins. Trips typically run three to four hours, with an early departure timed for calmer morning seas and the best chance of sightings. It’s an unforgettable marine wildlife experience and a highlight for nature lovers visiting the south coast.
